A strong confrontation broke out in Parliament between PASOK President Nikos Androulakis and the Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis, with the backdrop of revelations about OPECEPE. Androulakis announced a request for a pre -trial committee, while Georgiadis fiercely attacked PASOK, recalling earlier fines and scandals.
PASOK calls for OPECEPE pre -trial investigation
From the plenary session, Nikos Androulakis had a frontal attack on the government and the prime minister, announcing PASOK’s intention to submit a request for a pre -trial committee. He even cited the European Public Prosecutor’s case as a basis for investigating the responsibilities of the New Democracy ministers.
“We call on all parties to vote, without games, with respect to the Constitution,” he said, accusing the government of “fast track cunning”.
PASOK’s initiative is part of a wider strategy of highlighting transparency and accountability issues, focusing on European agricultural subsidies and their management through OPECEPE.
Georgiadis answer: “Is PASOK talking about corruption?”
Adonis Georgiadis did not leave the challenge unanswered. He attacked the PASOK president in a strong tone, drawing earlier fines imposed on Greece for agricultural subsidies during PASOK’s rule.
