Fierce Conflict Androulakis – Georgiadis in Parliament for OPECEPE

A strong confrontation broke out in Parliament between PASOK President Nikos Androulakis and the Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis, with the backdrop of revelations about OPECEPE. Androulakis announced a request for a pre -trial committee, while Georgiadis fiercely attacked PASOK, recalling earlier fines and scandals.

PASOK calls for OPECEPE pre -trial investigation

From the plenary session, Nikos Androulakis had a frontal attack on the government and the prime minister, announcing PASOK’s intention to submit a request for a pre -trial committee. He even cited the European Public Prosecutor’s case as a basis for investigating the responsibilities of the New Democracy ministers.

“We call on all parties to vote, without games, with respect to the Constitution,” he said, accusing the government of “fast track cunning”.

PASOK’s initiative is part of a wider strategy of highlighting transparency and accountability issues, focusing on European agricultural subsidies and their management through OPECEPE.

Georgiadis answer: “Is PASOK talking about corruption?”

Adonis Georgiadis did not leave the challenge unanswered. He attacked the PASOK president in a strong tone, drawing earlier fines imposed on Greece for agricultural subsidies during PASOK’s rule.

“The fines for the period 1998–2004 reached € 862 million. As a total of 2.7 billion euros in 1996, “he said, he said, wanting to pay responsibility for the party of Harilaou Trikoupi.

The Minister of Health described PASOK as a “joke” for cleansing and morals, leaving spikes on the party’s parliamentary supervision at OPEKEPE, with personal references to his executives, such as MP Hnaris.

Severe personal spikes and political hints

The controversy was not limited to institutional. Androulakis passed the counterattack accusing Georgiadis of political inconsistency and “political transcription” in the New Democracy.

“The people are laughing with one who said there is no more corrupt party than the ND and eventually became its vice -president,” he said.

He described Georgiades as “Jimmy Jump of politics” and “man without ballast”, implying that he does not hesitate to change camps to remain in power.

“Such a case has not come back to the House. He talks about a criminal organization of candidates for K. Mitsotakis. We read dialogues say “Avgenakis put me”, “Lefter’s friend”, “As long as Makis in Maximus is not afraid of anything”, “I got Gregory to go to Pitsilis”. Who does Gregory mean? Grigoris microgtions? ” Mr. Androulakis added.

Georgiadis responded by saying that “those who were out of the House are now out of the House”, recalling his support in the first memorandum and the PSI, stressing that PASOK itself was what he had proposed to the Minister of Papadimou.

Finally, he told Mr Androulakis: “As a lot of us told us about a” criminal gang “. The ND is the line that kept Greece in Europe, in the euro, which leads it to its future, and the issue of OPEKEPE will be resolved. And we will be judged in the elections of 2027. “

OPECEPE and fines: Data under the microscope

OPECEPE (Organization for Payments and Control of Community Aid and Guarantees) has been at the heart of the political controversy due to the fines for mismanagement of agricultural subsidies.

According to what was said in the House:

  • The total amount of fines from 1996 to the present day arrives 2.7 billion euros.

  • Of these, 103 million euros They relate to the period 2016–2019that is, the years before Mitsotakis.
