Locked up a program grant rental EUR 200 euros per month -according to valid newsit.gr information -for teachers, nurses, ports and police officers serving in island and remote mountainous areas.
The rent allowance to public officials working away (especially in mountainous -minor areas and/or those traveling long distances) was announced yesterday (1.7.25) will be paid by the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family.
The same sources on newsit.gr report that the rent subsidy will be close to 2,500 to 3,000 civil servants of the aforementioned categories and will run for four years, specifically for the period 2026 – 2029.
The total amount allocated to the beneficiaries is EUR 200 million and will come from Community resources.
