On Saturday, July 5th, Athens will be available for the first time in 24 -hour operation. OASA implements the 24 -hour operation of the 24 -hour operation Measure (lines 2 and 3), of the Tram (T6 and T7 Lines), as well as selected bus routes, covering neuralgic points of the Attica Basin.
The 24 -hour pilot operation of a fixed track for Saturday, relates to Lines 2 and 3 of the metro and T6 and T7 lines of the tram.
In a statement by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport on Wednesday (02.07.2025) for the 24 -hour subway, tram and bus test operation on Saturday, July 5 is noted:
“This initiative reinforces the overall experience of travel in the city, offering a safe and reliable audience at all times of the day. It is, moreover, an important step towards upgrading urban transport services and enhancing Athens extroversion. “
The pilot implementation of the measure, according to the same announcement, will be evaluated at a next stage, based on functional and quality data.
This effort characterizes the contribution of workers who, with a high sense of responsibility and professionalism, support the implementation of the test 24 -hour urban transport, responding to the increased operational requirements of the day.
