After their lengthy apologies, to the 3rd regular investigator of Athens, all those arrested from episodes after the march in the center of Athens for the memory of the 15-year-old Alexis Grigoropoulouwere released on bail.
On December 6th, marches were held which resulted in incidents in the center of Athens, due to the anniversary of the death of Alexis Grigoropoulos in 2008. The forces of the Greek Orthodox Church proceeded with many arrests and arrests. The 10 people who were arrested were released today, Tuesday (11.12.2024).
In particular, they were forced to appear twice at a police station in their area and banned from leaving the country.
From early in the morning, about 40 supporters had gathered outside the building where the investigative offices are located, shouting slogans of support for the arrested.
