In an evening dedicated to creativity, urban environment and human experience, the Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament. Nikitas Kaklamanis He inaugurated today in the historical site of the former public smokestack, the Lamda Development photography exhibition.

The exhibition, which will last until July 20, is a highly aesthetic photographic narrative about how urban destinations act as signs of connection, experience and inspiration. Seventy works of seven renowned Greeks and Greek photographers capture themes such as: Light and vision, nature and man, future and innovation, experience and time, shapes and balance, culture and connection, emotion and inspiration. It is an exhibition that attempts to artistically attribute the dynamics of the relationships that develop among us in the modern city.

In his address, the Speaker of the House emphasized that it was “an optical universe made of photographic mosaics, promoting interaction, creative dialogue and fruitful reflection”. Mr. N. Kaklamanis praised the artistic value of the participants, stating: “All special, all different, but all complementary. Together, as rings of the same chain, they create cohesively connected and structure an architectural ecosystem with continuity and consistency. “

The Speaker of the House referred to the works and the special glance of each of the participating photographers, with particular emphasis on Mariana Bistis’ atmospheric approach, the painting of George Gerolimou’s architecture, his color and the color of the painting and his painting Narration of Ria Mort, the purity and courtesy of Efi Gousi, as well as the bright geometric arrests of Dionysis Andrianopoulos.

The whole House of House of Representatives at the inauguration of Lamda Development Photography Exhibition inauguration

Dear girlfriends, dear friends, with great joy and pride today I welcome the launch of the excellent photo exhibition presented by Lamda Development in the emblematic area of the former public smokestack.

An exhibition that marks yet another open call of art and culture to society and man.

A visual universe made of photographic mosaics and inspired by the wonderful version entitled “Universe”.

These mosaics sculptured by artists of well -known value and course, build an organic system that promotes interaction, creative dialogue and fruitful reflection.

Among them, Marianna Bistis, with her atmospheric urban images, but also with the tight nearby shoots that close the eye to Pollock and Kadinsky. From another point of view, George Gerolimbos gives a poetic dimension to the urban landscape, capturing almost painting the architectural balance, while the purity and courtesy of Efi Gousi’s work stands out.

Pygmalion Karatzas, through his colorful and imposing lens, captures unexpected images and angles in the city environment. In contrast, Nikos Kontostavlakis, with his love for the natural landscape, tradition and man, presents an alternative artistic description of space.

In addition to the realistic depiction, Ria Mort, known for its portraits, exceeds the obvious and proceeds to a surrealistic narrative with a strong emotional burden. With the palette full of Greek light and color, Dionysis Andrianopoulos complements the group of artists through his geometric arrests that at the same time highlight the tendency to ‘read behind the lines’.

All special, all different, but also all complementary. Together, as rings of the same chain they create consistently connected and structure an architectural ecosystem with continuity and consistency.

For this very reason, the report is such an important venture. Because it constitutes a compact and balanced photographic narrative, based on creative pluralism.

With these thoughts, I would like to congratulate Lamda Development on her initiative, photographers about the exquisite result, as well as all those who have contributed to organizing this excellent exhibition.

Warm congratulations and good luck!
