The Independent Public Revenue Authority has been released today (AADE) the updated lists with their loudspeakers of the State, who have overdue debts of more than 150,000 euros.
These are the Lists of AADE with natural and legal persons – large -scale -speaking people with serious and long -term debts that have not been settled, despite the fact that they had given time to compliance.
According to the data, a total of 17,836 taxpayers appear on the list, of which 13,727 are natural persons and 4,109 legal entities. Of these, 16,991 have a basic debt of more than EUR 150,000, while 845 debtors are included due to surcharges and fines that launched the total amount.
There are no old acquaintances, who have been on the lists of “Batches” every year, such as Kosta Chris and the Acropolis brokerage, which owe most of the other natural and legal persons, respectively. Especially in the case of the latter, it is doubtful whether the State will ever receive the owners. This is the case of an AEPYY, who has been in a state of liquidation for years and involved in one of the most notorious financial scandals in Greece. It started operating in 1997 as a stock market. Her name came to the surface with the case of structured bonds in 2007, when she intervened in the sale of a bond of € 280 million to insurance funds, earning excessive commission and blame for significant losses by the Funds. She was fined 5.5 billion euros in 2010 (with the add -ups of € 8.5 billion), but remains outstanding.
Among the individuals with the largest arrears to the State and Customs are cases such as Kosta Chris, with a total of € 1.1 billion in total, as well as John Ioannis, whose debts exceed EUR 866 million. The top ten are Panagiotis Apostolidis and Heraklis Anthemidis (who has been involved in illegal extracting pharmaceuticals in Skopje, through Bulgaria, but also in cigarette and fuel smuggling cases), with debts extending from € 293 to 397 million. decades, which remain outstanding and out of active regulation.
There are also remarkable cases of legal entities that appear on the Lists of AADE with exorbitant debts to the State and the insurance bodies. At the top is, as mentioned above, the Acropolis Stock Exchange company SA, with a total basic debt of more than € 3.1 billion, followed by the High Service Association with debts of around € 975 million. The first ten is completed by Konstantinou Communication, Carrera Mobile Electronic Trade, Sotel TRADE INDUSTRIAL, as well as companies such as DANIILIS MARIA TRADE EU, PYRKKAL – ELVO, and MAKRO RENTAL RENTIONS, with basic debts ranging from 62 million euros. Total debts include customs issues, with amounts in many cases exceeding EUR 800 million per provider, while for some they also have parallel liabilities to the E-EFKA. Most of these companies are under liquidation or have stopped operating long before.
It should be noted that the publication of lists is part of the strategy of transparency and pressure on the part of the tax authorities, as it is provided for by law for systematic non -payment of debts. The tables include VAT, name or name, basic and total debt, as well as any interruption arrangements.
It is noteworthy that the suspension relates to debts that have not been subjected to active arrangement by April 30, 2024, as well as those that have then collapsed. Interested parties can search the data through a special AADE platform, with the possibility of filtering per debtor category.
