Alarm for fires on Sunday: In “Red” Attica, Crete, Euboea, Laconia, Dodecanese

In state Extreme Fire Risk (Category 5) will be tomorrow, Sunday 29 Juneseveral areas of the country, according to the Official Risk Provision Map that issued the General Secretariat for Civil Protection of the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection.

The alarm is concerned Attica regions (including Kythera), Creteas well as the Regional Units of South Evia, Laconia, Lesvos, Chios, Samos and Ikaria.

Additional, very high risk of fire (Category 4) is provided for areas:

  • Peloponnese, South Aegean

  • The PE Achaia, Ilias, Boeotia, Fthiotida

  • Her Northern Euboea (along with the island of Skyros)

  • Her Thassos, Rodopi, Evros and Lemnos
