The five defendants are now included, including customs officials, customs clearance and office owners, in order to apologize to the Greek European investigator from whom they are expected to request a deadline to prepare their defense line.
A total of 101 surveys were carried out in the operation at the Customs Offices, the companies controlled by organized criminal groups, the suspects’ facilities, as well as in the offices of tax consultants and representatives, lawyers, accountants and shipping companies, in Bulgaria, Greece, France and Spain.
During the investigations, authorities seized € 5.8 million (including 4.75 million euros in Greece and the rest in France and Spain), in different coins, including Hong Kong dollars, euro in digital wallets and cryptocurrencies, and decisions were also issued in Greece.
