Real estate: The 3% ceiling on commercial leases is extended for the whole of 2025

With amendment which was submitted to the Parliament, the 3% ceiling on professional leases is extended real estate for the whole of 2025.

Specifically, while the maximum 3% increase in commercial property leases would expire at the end of 2024, the new amendment extends it until December 31, 2025.

ESEE had also requested the extension in a letter to the Minister of Development, Mr. Takis Theodorikakos, while the possibility caused the reactions of POMIDA.

The property owners asked Mr. Theodorikakos not to extend even for a day the unilateral and unacceptable imposition of a “ceiling” 3% in commercial rents and in 2025.
