The main fronts of the fire are in Dafnonas and Agios Georgios Sykousis. However, throughout the island there are many, scattered and dangerous outbreaks.

At least 200 firefighters fight with flames
From Monday on the fiery fronts there are 190 firefighters with 11 groups of hiking sections from the 1st, 2nd and 13th EME, as well as 38 vehicles.
Among them are forces that arrived by air and ferry from Athens and Thessaloniki.
Due to the critical situation within the next few hours they are expected:
- 44 Firefighters with 11 Kavala vehicles (moving ferry),
- 92 firefighters from Athens and Thessaloniki (aircraft move), of which 80 are in special forest units (EMME),
- 110 firefighters with 34 vehicles and 30 volunteers with 4 vehicles (moving ferry from Piraeus),
- 8 firefighters with 2 vehicles from Lesvos.
