Summer Discounts 2025: When do they start, how much will they last and what Sunday the shops are open

The ‘appointments’ for the summer discounts 2025 have already been closed and for almost a month and a half consumers will be able to make their purchases from shops with reduced prices.

Specifically, the 2025 summer discount season will begin Monday, July 14th and will run until Sunday, August 31st. In addition, on the first Sunday after the start of the discounts, the shops will be optional open. The proposed opening hours is 11: 00–18: 00, although hours may vary slightly by region.

During this period, there are rules that must be respected by shopkeepers and consumers:

  • The corridors of the stores should indicate that discounts are made.
  • The double price is compulsory – old deleted price and new, reduced, in a distinct position.
  • The discount rate is not mandatory (but it is allowed once the ‘discount’ is used).
  • Offers differ from discounts: The first ones relate to older species and require their own marking and pricing.
  • Consumers should always request proof and be informed of a guarantee, instructions and change/return policy.
