The Minister of Foreign Affairs Iran, Abbas Aragzisaid today that the USA And Israel “decided to blow up in the air” diplomacy by launching attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities.
Iran will defend itself “by all the necessary means,” Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakzi said after US raids against a neuralgic installations of the Iranian nuclear program.
Asked if there is still room for diplomacy after the US attack, Araci responded “not now”.
“The door of diplomacy should always remain open, but this is not the case right now,” he said. “My country has been attacked, has been aggressive and we must respond on the basis of our legal right to self -defense.”
“The Islamic Republic of Iran will continue to defend its territory, sovereignty, security and its people with all the necessary means,” Arakzi said on the sidelines of the Synod of the Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC) in Constantinople.
The US attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities added, “it is an unforgivable violation of international law.”
“Any move against Ayatollah would bring a reaction without limits”
At the same time, a high -ranking Iranian official told the Reuters news agency that any move to target the Supreme leader of Iran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei would “close the door” to any agreement or negotiation and could cause a “reaction”.
“For Iran such an act could be perceived as a violation of all red lines- which would make a reaction without limits and limitations,” the Iranian official said.
