Civil Protection: Extraordinary Announcement for 48 -hour bad weather – what to watch for citizens

If you are at home

• Do not hold electrical appliances or the phone because the lightning can pass through the cables. Disconnect the TV devices from the antenna and supply of electricity.

• Avoid touching plumbing pipes (kitchen, bathroom) as they constitute good electricity conductors.

If you are in the car

• Immobilize it on the side of the road and away from trees that may fall on it.

• Stay in and light the post -emergency warning lights until the storm is cut.

• Close the windows and do not rest on metal objects.

• Avoid flooded roads.

If you are outdoors

• Refuge in a building or in a car otherwise sit on the ground immediately without lying down.

• Never resort under a tall tree in an open space.

• Avoid the low soils for the risk of flooding.

• Do not stand by pillars, power lines, telephone lines and fences.

• Do not approach metal objects (eg cars, bicycles, camp camp, etc.).

• If you are in the sea, go out immediately.
