Theodorikakos: We do strict controls with results for consumer protection

“The market has a great deal to do with developments in the Middle East, if the war is continued or if it escalates with other states involved, it is obvious that the effect on oil price will be high and this will only be negative as inflationary pressures will be oxidized,” Mr Theodoros added. “Profiteering and illegal speculation cannot be accepted. Another thing is internationally increasing prices and their effects and another thing is the hatred hat, “he said.

“The law is law and it will be controlled as applicable. We have proven to everyone that we do as strictly as possible for both consumers and healthy and legal competition our work. Where there is an offensive obligation of the state is to intervene, “the Minister of Development said.

In this context, Mr. Theodorikakos reiterated that the ceiling in relation to the profits of 2021 is completed on June 30 and that the Ministry of Development is promoting the establishment of the new independent market supervision and consumer protection.
