The PENEN -Coaches clash is escalating. The Panhellenic Association of Merchant Marine Navy announced at midnight on Thursday (19.06.2025) New 24 hours strike for the ships of the line in the Adriatic.
Indeed, the Panhellenic Association of Merchant Navy (PENEN) warns the strike across the ferry, as long as there is no substantial response from the coastal and government.
After a new assembly held by members of PENEN at the port of Patras They decided a new 24 -hour strike starting at 6am on Friday (20.06.2025) and ending at 6am on Saturday, June 21st.
“The deck crew continues the strike struggle on the Adriatic ships by claiming solutions to its fair demands,” the PENEN administration said in a statement.
According to the Maritime Association, the strike was reinforced after today’s strike assembly at the port of Patras, which followed a massive concentration of solidarity of sailors and supporters.
He adds that after the last strike assembly and after the rally of solidarity in the port of Patras, all the data were examined and after an interactive debate, it was unanimously decided by both the administration and the industry to continue the strike.
He also notes that the security personnel will be complied with what is provided by maritime law in the case of strikes.
