“It is completely natural, legitimate and legal for Iran to defend itself against robbing and state terrorism of Israel,” Recep Tayyip Erdogan told members of his ruling party, AKP.
The Turkish president also argued that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “has long surpassed Adolf Hitler in the crime of genocide” committed in Gaza. “We hope his luck will not be the same” as that of the Nazi leader, he added.
“The blood of the slaughtered civilians, the babies and the children who have been murdered is in the hands and faces not only those who support the arrogance of Israel, but also those who remain silent,” he said.
Erdogan pointed out that Israel attacked Iran, a neighbor of Turkey, without waiting for the talks between Washington and Tehran for the Iranian nuclear program to end, adding that Ankara wants to see the issues to be resolved through diplomacy.
