Cancellation of all her scheduled concerts for this summer announced Eleftheria Arvanitakis, A few days before the premiere with Marios Frangoulis in Lycabettus on June 24.
The two great artists were to give a series of concerts together at the Rockwave Festival, starting from Athens and continuing to selected stations throughout Greece. However, as Eleftheria Arvanitakis announced through her posting on social media, health reasons oblige her to abstain from any artistic activity in the near future.
“Unfortunately, health reasons are forcing me to cancel all my concerts this year. My doctor insisted that I need a rest and I will do him a favor. Thanks to my heartfelt Marios Frangoulis for his support and all of you for your love and understanding, “the beloved performer said in her post.
In her post she states:
‘My dear friends,
This summer will find me out of concert action. Personal health reasons for me to rest and stay out. And this is what I will do: I will take care of me and fill up batteries for the next. Thanks to Mario Frangoulis for being with me all this, my collaborators producers, musicians and technicians. And so for a change this summer I say post sunsets, beaches and beautiful pictures. We will share the songs that have joined us for so many years and so we are certainly not lost.
