“The research, the model study and implementation of the restoration of great monuments of Christianity, such as the restoration work of the Holy Kouvoukli of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem, the contribution to the anti-seismic protection and maintenance of the mosaics of Agia Sofia in Constantinople as well Nafpaktia, center of the National Liberation Struggle in Roumeli, highlight the values of Christianity and are a product of innovation in modern technological terms.
These are exemplary projects for interdisciplinary, and at the same time cooperation of users or even different states. With the emergence of historical, architectural, aesthetic and religious values of the great monuments of Christianity, research and innovation data contribute beyond the diffusion of know -how and to the dissemination of values. Works in the great monuments of Christianity are emblematic of a great deal. A typical example is the promotion of the international media of the rehabilitation project of the Holy Kouvoukli of the Holy Sepulcher, with the scientific responsibility of the National Technical University of Athens, which attracted three billion people around the world, while the Christians do not exceed two.
