Tragedy unfolded in Spainwith a 93 -year -old losing his life and 19 more people injured in fire Authorities have erupted in a nursing home today (07.06.25).
The fire started from a ground floor room at around 23:00 (local time, midnight Greece) yesterday night at the nursing home in Zaragoza, northeast of Spain, the Emergency Response Service in X said.
The elderly man died on the spot, while at least 19 more people were in hospitals due to inhalation of tobacco, he added.
There are 132 people in the retirement home.

Members of the Emergency Response Service and residents of the area worked to remove tenants, some of whom had to find the windows, reported local media.
Police have begun an investigation into the incident, with the media referring to the explosion of oxygen bottle.
