In his post he states characteristically:

“My mother died at the age of 73 after a long stay at the hospital as a result of a brain at Christmas. It was operated on, survived but then the battle was uneven. In her last moments and her three children we were by her side.

I want to thank nurses and doctors for doing everything to soften her pain. All of these months were incomprehensible difficult for our family and me personally. Thanks partners and friends for understanding.

I feel the need to tell you a few words about my mother.

Anna Roditou, daughter of immigrant from Chania, and refugees from Aydin, Asia Minor, was born in Kokkinia and raised in Kato Patisia. From thirteen years he entered the field of work and was rightly proud of it.

From 16 years old she tied her life tightly and uninterruptedly with our beloved father and for 55 years did not leave each other, nor to his own death 3 years ago.

They did everything fast, intense and with a soul. A lot of work, three children, six grandchildren …

They left early but full of happy moments.

Our mother was a generous, persistent, smart, fair woman, with eloquence. Growing up and herself in a family with a deep democratic tradition. Beautiful and tasteful in everything, she was a role model for us, always showing respect for her around her.

He was a pure man with steady principles, straight, with a unique smile and a jerk laugh.

Our father’s house in Menidi has been emptied but will always be full of happy memorable and firmly the source of the love and dynamics that defined us.

The last farewell to Anna, we will say on Tuesday, June 10 at 3pm at the Church of St. Constantine and Helen in Ano Acharnes (Molas 132). “
