A series of answers to issues that concern the world was given by the Deputy Minister under the Prime Minister and a government spokesman Paul Marinakis In the now established “briefing for the citizens”.
In the third series “Briefing for Citizens” Mr. Marinakis talked about the minors’ entry checks in the Clubfor the possibility of paying card payments to public transport, for the government’s policies to increase wages, on the issue of the demarcation of the settlements below 2,000 inhabitants, but also for the use of it. personnelhousing programs and compliance with government commitments to citizens, while at the same time answering some more personal questions.

Specifically:
Asked “whether it will be more stricter to check for minors into a club,” he said: “It is now, at this time, a consultation bill, which means that in a few weeks it will be a state law. We build a platform where every private event should be stated there so that the state knows and the control mechanisms, what events are happening and where. The entry of a minor into a bar and the sale of alcohol and tobacco products is re -established. What are the sanctions? Depending on escalation, it can initially be the closure of this business, for some days, for some weeks or for some months and if it continues to do so, the definitive sealing, so that one can understand that we are not joking with some things. ”
Mr Marinakis then explained what was finally true for a card payment in MMM. “Here, obviously, the question has to do, if you can get in the media using your mobile phone or card. In Athens this service is already available. With tap2ride we can, instead of using a ticket or monthly card, simply charged our debit or abstract card, which we have even passed on mobile. For Thessaloniki – and I tell you, because last week I had an update of political editors there and I was informed by the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure – in a few days you will be able to cut a card ticket. I will say: In a few weeks, to be sure, we can also have this service in Thessaloniki, ”he noted.
In a series of questions about employment and salary issues, he stressed: “We had very good news for another month from the” front “of employment. Unemployment in our country, the lowest of the last 17 years, lower than Spain, Estonia, Finnish, have been at 8.3% of 8.3% of the last 17 years. Reducing unemployment is not a simple matter. It is the result of the efforts of businesses, small and medium -sized enterprises, society, the patience of the world, the digitization of the Tree, the reduction of 72 taxes. And to say something? Because I remember what we were saying 10 years ago. It is also the most important, in a country that has left 650,000 young people abroad. The 420,000 of them have returned and with all of us who stayed and resisted, it is important to discuss 8.3%unemployment, which is the aim of falling again. Now look, the most important thing is with what salaries are these jobs and even in this area, despite the persistent accuracy that has begun somewhat and recedes, salaries have risen quite a bit. They have to go up another. The minimum wage has risen by 36%, the average salary by about 30%, that is, on average than prices raised. Who is our goal? In the next two years, we can achieve tax exemptions and reductions in tax rates to increase further income and especially in the middle class. ”
Regarding the demarcation of settlements below 2,000 inhabitants, he stressed: “Too serious issue. You will give me half a minute to tell you that the delineation of settlements by the prefects was done since the 1980s. The government did not wake up one morning here and said: Let’s change what is happening. Here, the Council of State came and made some decisions and has ruled from 2005 to the present day, a series of decisions that the delineation of settlements by the prefects are illegal. Until the government comes to take out the Presidential Decree, who had a plot of land in these settlements, namely who: Settlements under 2,000 inhabitants, with some exceptions of seaside settlements, could have no security, even if it was in the center of the settlement. Now what have we accomplished? To move on, in essence, to resolve the issue, for Zone A and Zone B and take a number of initiatives, so that the best possible solution for the zone C. in a nutshell, what the opposition says, that “some of our fellow citizens were sleeping with plots.” And again, it responds to a need that has emerged from justice decisions. ”
In relation to the personal number and exactly what its use is: “No, we do not put a chip with the personal number. The personal number, which we can all enter – and it is good to do – to create it at pa.gov.gr. The goal is? Within a few years, the one and only personal number to replace the many we have and we must remember, ID number, tax number, AMKA and at the end of the day everything is much easier and more secure, as this number will pass to our identity. ”
On the operation of the platform with the mortgage programs, he stressed: “Yes, and it is of great value the existence of this platform. A huge issue is the housing crisis. There is a great need to inform citizens about our policies. It is over 40 policies, over 6 billion euros. It is very important for each of you to understand if it concerns some or some of these policies. So we enter the platform stegasi.gov.gr and see: What we are interested in, what can we benefit from, what taxes or tax exemptions concern us, so that all these policies can get a place. We see it again, especially we younger ones, we don’t have a given, that we will make our own home and the younger ones have an even bigger problem, which for our grandparents and our parents were self -evident. The roof is a right. ”
Asked, whether the prime minister has promised by the end of the government’s term, he replied: “Two years have still been left until the ’27 elections. This is our obligation to implement our program, to be consistent and that is why we will be judged by the citizens. At the end of the day we will put the program, the report and you will judge us. “
In addition, he explained what applies to the personal number for those who have already received an identity: “Those of us who have the new identity do not have to go back, but it is good to go to pass us the personal number. The rest, make an appointment, to have the new identity and one will have the personal number in and one. ”
P. Marinakis then answered some questions outside the “government framework”. It was told a good and a stressful story from the Panhellenic: “… Twenty years behind… the day I gave my first lesson in the Panhellenic 2005 – very well you heard you the smaller ones – became the final of the Greek football Cup in Patras. It doesn’t happen every year outside of Athens, so I wanted to go. It went well, so I thought at least, the lesson in the morning. And in the afternoon, because the next lesson was not Monday, it was Tuesday, I started going and there were episodes during the race. As a result, I could not easily go home and returned shortly before midnight, while Eurovision was taking place and we raised the mug and with Elena Paparizou. I will not forget this day …
I think you all understand what I am saying to those you have given. We kept absences at the 3rd High School for the last month, to sit at home some mornings, if not all to read. So I had a too much stress if I had calculated them correctly. The Panhellenic is over, I gave the last lesson, the results came out. It seemed that we probably achieved the goal. And all summer, if not every night, too often, I woke up with the nightmare, that while I went to the school I wanted, that is, I had left out of absence and I had not understood it. In general, I think that if we put them in a scales, most of us will want these days to spend very quickly and not remember them. So don’t go crazy. Set your goals. It is very important to succeed them, but then you can review them many times in your life. ”
Concerning his plans for the Holy Spirit weekend, he said: “Here we will sit down and I hope to see the little one more”, and for his charm before important speeches he said it was “… to talk to my wife and my child, just before I enter the talk hall. That’s why I’m very happy, when sometimes one of the two, most of my wife, because the little one stays young, he is there. I feel more confident. ”
Finally, to the question “How will you explain to your son what do you do?” He said: “My job is a lawyer. I’m not a professional politician. Politics is not a job. Politics is temporary, as long as people want, but when the good time goes by and can understand, I will talk to him for these years. I have a lot to say to him. “
