At the meeting of the Ministers of Defense NATO He participated on Thursday the Nikos Dendias. On the agenda of the talks was the preparation of the summit (24 – 25/6), the strengthening of the defense industry and innovation in the context of increasing defense spending, deterrence and defense, anti -ballistic defense, hybrid threats and the war in Ukraine.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the Minister of National Defense met with his Italian counterpart, Guindo. According to a post by Nikos Dendia on social media, they discussed bilateral defense cooperation and the progress of consultations on the purchase of FREMM frigates.
