Memorandum of Understanding DBA – ELVAL for paid apprenticeship in a modern aluminum industrial unit

Memorandum of Understanding to enhance vocational education and employment today (4.6.2025), at Alimos Public Employment Offices, its Commander. DEPASpyros Protopsaltis, and Elval Human Resources Manager George Papandreou, with the aim of closer interconnection of technique training with the real needs of modern industry.

From the new school year, the News School of Machinery (CNC), with theoretical training and paid and insured practice in the state -of -the -art industrial unit of ELVAL in Oinofya, will operate in the new school year, at the Vocational School of Engineering (CNC) in Chalkida.

The new specialty is aimed at young and young people up to 29 years old, at least graduates of high school, and DBA offers:

  • Free attendance for 2 years (4 semesters)
  • Paid and insured apprenticeship (125-156 euros weekly for 4-5 days of apprenticeship)
  • Housing Up to 240 euros monthly and feeding 9 euros daily (with enlarged income criteria)
  • Providing Student License and Possibility of Purification.

In addition, Elval provides:

  • Private insurance
  • Coastal cards
  • Daily feeding
  • Free transfer to and from the factory to Oinofyta with its own vehicles.

Recognizing the need for young people of Euboea and Boeotia for qualitative professional outlets that combine education, innovation and prospects of evolution, ELVal’s collaboration with Elval aims to enhance local employment through targeted technical education and experience in real working conditions, in a safe and modern environment.

Applications for the introduction to the 50 VIA Vocational Schools (EPAS), including EPAS Vassilikos Chalkida, have already begun and submitted electronically via gov.gr.
