E-EFKA: All stamps are digitized for faster pensions

The digitization center of e-EFKA visited the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Ceramic Victoryaccompanied by the Secretary General of Social Security, Konstantinos Tsagaropoulos and E-EFKA Commander Alexander Varveris.

Niki Kerameos toured the offices of the Center where the digitization project of E-EFKA is in full swing and found the progress being made. Overall, more than 26,900,000 pages of stamps file have been scanned using artificial intelligence, translating 50.53 % of the total file, signaling the transition to the full digital transformation of the country’s insurance system.

The project, which is expected to be completed in 2025, aims to create a single, cleared and reliable insurance history for millions of insured persons, enhancing speed, transparency and efficiency in pensions and improving the e-EFKA digital services.

The Minister of Labor and Social Security, Niki Kerameos, said: “We visited the E-EFKA Digitization Center, where we had the opportunity to see the progress of digitization projects of the stamps. Utilizing modern technologies, we methodically proceed with the digital transformation of social security, with a tangible benefit for millions of insured and retirees. We would like to thank all workers, as their contribution is crucial to its implementation. Our goal is to be useful for the citizens, to serve them better, by issuing pensions faster. “
