United States President Donald Trump expressed his opinion on Friday widely used videoin which France’s First Lady, Brigitte Macron, is alleged to be handled by her husband, French President Emmanuel Macron, as he was preparing to land an aircraft in Vietnam.
When journalists asked the US leader to offer some advice on his married life to his French counterpart, Trump, after a brief pause, responded with his well -known sarcastic tone: “To ensure that the door remains hermetically closed.” Trump also said he had contact with Mr Macron after the incident, which he described as something “not positive”.
“It was not positive. No. I talked to him and are good, both are good, they are two excellent people, “President Trump said, referring to the French presidential couple, with which both he and his wife, Melania Trump, have shared several moments in international meetings. He added, “I don’t know the exact nature of all of it, but I know them well, it’s fine.”
It is worth noting that Emmanuel Macron himself had previously attempted to attach less importance to the issue. In his statements to the press representatives, he said: “There is a video in which I seem to humor and tease my wife, and this is suddenly transformed into an almost planetary crisis, with people making scenarios to interpret it.”
