Dynamic mobilization of sympathy towards the Palestinian people It took place on Friday on a central highway in Thessaloniki. The march was held in response to the call that worked with workers’ associations and various other collectives and mass bodies of the city.
The central message of the demonstration, imprinted on the banner on the head of the march, was the urgent need for immediate cessation of violence and hostilities against the Palestinians, with the slogan “stopping the slaughter of the Palestinian people” dominating.

Participants along the way have prompted their strong opposition to the ongoing military operations and Israeli policies in the region. During the mobilization, strong slogans of solidarity were heard, and among those repeated was “History has a right side, with Palestine as freedom”, expressing the conviction of the demonstrators about the law of the Palestinian struggle.
The solidarity march had the starting point of the statue of Venizelos, and after crossing Thessaloniki’s main streets, it was completed, returning to the same spot.
