PASOK: Accuracy has become a regime in our country because of the inertia and weakness of the government

George Nikitiadis, MP of Dodecanese, KTE MP, MPs, a joint statement made a joint statement. Development and Dimitris Spyrakos, Secretary of the PASOK – Change Movement.

Accuracy has become a regime in our country because of the inertia and weakness of the government. Undoubtedly, one of its main causes is the degradation of its days and the institutional framework for consumer protection. The supervision of the state, after the abolition of the General Secretariat for Consumer, was further weakened with the assignment of consumer protection to a under -staffed address of the Ministry of Development.

This is what is happening in our country at a time when the European Union requires both the upgrading of consumer administrative protection and the strengthening of the role of consumer associations. In fact, all European countries have organized and established corresponding powerful supervisory principles.

The impasse of a generation: young people, unemployment and accuracy in Greece – live with less and dream of… fear

Greece is the only country that has been indifferent and moving in recent years in the opposite direction.

PASOK has submitted a comprehensive proposal of law since 2022 to establish a powerful consumer protection authority, which will have its responsibilities, means, tools and know -how, in order to protect in the most effective way the interests of the devotes.

But instead of supporting the comprehensive proposal of PASOK’s Law – Change Movement for the establishment of an independent consumer protection authority, it is currently engaged in the impasses of its policies, in communication fireworks, as it always does, showing it as a “new idea” to establish a “new idea”.

PASOK, after all, suggested the broader need for a new architecture in the field of consumer protection and market supervision, will continue to lead its proposals to ensure the establishment of a truly meaningful and effective principle for consumer protection.
