Increased permission allowance will receive private sector workers this year paid with minimum wage.
It is recalled that as of April 1, 2025, the minimum wage stood at € 880 gross, compared to 830 euros previously in force. The leave allowance is calculated at 589.41 euros (from 556.05 euros). This increase also has an impact on the amount of the leave allowance received by employees.
Under applicable legislation:
- The employee shall be entitled to an annual earning of earnings, which he receives in consultation with the employer.
- The employer is obliged to grant permission within two months of the employee’s request.
Summer license must be given Between May 1 and September 30at least 50% of a business staff.
The summer leave allowance is paid either in its entirety during the license, or in part together with the leave earnings.
The 2025 summer leave allowance is equal to all the actual regular salaries paid. May not exceed 15 -day earnings for those who are paid for a monthly salary and 13 days for those who are paid by wage or by unit of work or by rates or otherwise.
The employee is entitled to receive half a monthly salary if he is paid salary and 15 wages if he is paid on a wage.
Those who receive an unemployment benefit from the DBA are not entitled to leave allowance.
