Incredible incident happened at Lisbona few days before the final of his final Champions Women’s League between Arsenal and Barcelona.
The Champions League trophy was stolen on Saturday night (17/5/2025), with Portuguese police claiming that a group of strangers, wearing hoods, violated one of the gates of the Stadium “Jose Alvalade” and boiled in the basement garage, where it was guarded.
Naturally, the theft caused disruption and strong reflection on the Portuguese organizers, as there were strict security measures on the court ahead of the final.
The Women’s Champions League trophy has been recovered after being STOLEN at the José Alvalade stadium in Lisbon, during Sporting CP’s title celebrations.

Police eventually managed to find the stolen trophy, without even knowing the way they managed to locate it.
In total, 13 suspects have been identified, and the investigation is continuing to identify others.
