They trained cat to get drugs in Costa Rica prison: viral her “arrest” video

Two packs of marijuana and cocaine ‘tried to pass’ in her prison Costa Ricaone cat. The authorities immediately “arrested” her to catch the drugs and find the man who stuck her “gifts”.

The incredible incident took place in Costa Rica’s Pokotsi prison when the guards found the black and white cat moving suspiciously near the prisoneven carrying some mysterious packages, which proved to be drugs.

Costa Rica’s Justice Ministry has published the video of the arrest on social media, which quickly became viral.

Users named the cat “Narcomichi”, a name that combines “Narco” and “Michi”, a term used by residents of Spanish -speaking cats. In Greek we could call it a “minefield”.

The shots seem to be carefully removed the drug packaging from the cat’s body.

During the survey it turned out that the cat was carrying 235 grams of cannabis and 67 grams of cocaine in paste.

Watch the video:

“We believe that the cat may have been trained to enter the prison areas from abroad,” said Filiolea Salazar Rochas, Costa Rica’s Justice Minister of Justice.

“This method of smuggling is not only unusual but also extremely alarming, as it indicates a level of planning and intention of exploiting the animal in criminal activities.”

The cat was handed over to the National Animal Health Service for health evaluation while authorities are trying to determine who was behind the plan.
