OFI – Olympiacos 0-2: Piraeus won the Greek Cup and celebrated the double in the 100th anniversary of their history

THE Olympic won 2-0 in the OFI In the final of the OAKA and after the championship, it also reached the winning Greek Cup, completing a historic double in the 100th anniversary of the club.

Once again in the final, Ayub El Kabi “talked” about Olympiacos and was the one who scored the “golden” goal, who gave the Piraeus Greek Cup, “killing” OFI in the final, before putting the … icing on the delays.

Piraeus were better for the longest time of the match at the OAKA, eventually reaching a “pure” victory, festive in the finale of the match.

The game

The Greek Cup final was a good pace in its start, with Olympiacos it will have the… upper hand and pushing OFI, making aggressive efforts mainly from the right of the wing. The Cretans tried to be careful in their game, but failed to get out of the attack, with the Piraeus Huffs (and Garcia to cut everything …).

As soon as Olympiacos conveyed his game to the left, after a while he reached 0-1. From the Reds’s “cabin”, with Rodinei playing alongside the area, Tsikinio leaving the ball under his feet, El Kabi wrapped up with one and defeated Christogeorgos. A “worked” phase, with the goal being dedicated by the players to Fran Castro, his assistant Jose Luis Mentilibar, who is responsible for preparing the “stands”.

Olympiacos continued to have a better presence than OFI and in the 23rd ‘approached a second goal, with Tsikinio’s shot sending the ball for a while.

From the middle of the first part onwards, OFI showed that he raised “turns” and even in the 32 ‘saw Lambropoulos’ shot – after a corner kick – sending the ball just above Easter’s horizontal beam. At the same time, however, Rodinei, Martins El Kabi did not allow the Cretans to “forget” their defensive duties. Whenever they had the ball on their feet, they were capable of doing the “damage”.

But the score did not change in the halftime, with Olympiacos going with a lead in the locker room on OFI and starting the second part. At 47 ′ El Kabi was in a shot from a diagonal right in the area, but his Cretan goalkeeper fired.

OFI then took action on the court and searched for the equalizer, but it was again Olympiacos who created opportunities for goals. Zelson’s shot at 59 ′, however, went out, while Rodinei’s place was fired by Christogeorgos shortly afterwards. The Cretans in turn had a good time with a misplaced shot of Founta at 65 ′, with the international striker failing and a corner kick at 70 ′.

The Piraeusians could then “seal” their victory, with Tsikinio scoring at 79 ′, but his goal not counting offside to El Kabi at the beginning of the phase.

The second goal finally came to Olympiacos in the delays, with Yaremtsuk scoring the counterattack and putting the … icing on the great victory of the Piraeus, now celebrating the double in Greece.

Olympiacos won after the championship and the Greek Cup, completing a unique season in the 100th anniversary of the club.
