A bomb was fired on Saturday (17/5/25) in front of a clinic specialized in medical assisted reproduction in the city of Palm Springs in its Californiawith a man losing his life. Mayor Ron Deharte informed the Los Angeles Times via SMS that it was “bomb in or near a vehicle parked in the building”, adding that there is a dead person from the explosion.
“The FBI will conduct an investigation to determine if it was a deliberate energy,” Bill Esiley, a federal prosecutor responsible for the area in California, said about the explosion, some 160 kilometers east of Los Angeles …
According to a report by ABC News, who cited sources in the classroom enforcement services, beyond the man who lost his life, five other people were injured. The municipality said the explosion occurred shortly before 11:00 (local time; 21:00 Greek time).

California Governor Gavin Newsom was informed of the explosion, according to his services. The Associated Press news agency reported that the clinic, with a distinctive title of American Reproductive Centers, suffered damage but its staff is “safe”, citing Dr. Macher Abdallah.
‘Unforgivable’ the attack
“Violence against clinical fertility is unforgivable,” Justice Minister Pam Bodi said on Saturday after a bomb explosion – a “deliberate” action at the police estimate – aimed at a medically assisted reproduction center.
“We are working to find out more, but let me be clear: the Trump government realizes that women and mothers are the heartbeat of America,” Minister Bodi said via X.
Police estimated that it was an “isolated” incident.
