Marginally downward trends are prevalent today (14.5.2025) at the start of trading to Stock exchange Athens.
The General Price Index on the Greek Stock Exchange is currently at 1,783.48 points, with losses of 0.28%. The value of trading is EUR 14.5 million by 2.7 million pieces of shares that have changed hands.
Of the 97 equity securities that have been moved so far, 53 are rising and the 32 decline in prices, and 12 remain unchanged against their closure yesterday.
Of the individual indicators, the “heavy” FTSE of high capitalization is down 0.26% while the FTSEM of mid -capitalization profits 0.26%. Banking FTSE HA records losses of -0.25%.
Of the individual securities, the most important profits are made by Pairi’s 4.05%share, followed by ELVE with 4.0%.
On the other hand, the biggest losses are recorded by Akritas’ share with a 25.26% decline followed by Attica’s share with -12.84%.
European stock markets
European shares are fluctuating today at the start of transactions following the profits earlier this week after the trading truce between the US and China.
The Pan -European Stoxx 600 index loses 0.10%. The FTSE 100 on the London Stock Exchange is up 0.05%, on the other hand the German DAX index is down to -0.04%, as does the French CAC 40 at -0.30%. The FTSE MIB in Milan wins +0.28% and Spanish IBEX 35 at +0.49%.
The luxury company Burberry exceeded estimates with the announcement of its financial results. Its share earlier jumped 7.9%.
