The application process grant for the increased cost Electricity from December 2024 – February 2025 describes the Ministry of Environment and Energy (RIS) in a relevant presentation.
The purpose of the subsidy is to tackle the increase in electricity costs during the winter months of 2024 – 2025 and is part of the government’s network to support entrepreneurship in Greece.
The aid framework concerns undertakings with gross revenue of up to EUR 10 million for the tax year 2023 or the main CAD of the business 10.71, 10.72 and 96.01 (within the above gross tax revenue threshold 2023) to grant an increased subsidy, divided into 4 categories of undertakings:
- The A category includes natural or legal persons with annual gross income for the tax year 2023 (code 047 of the E3 form of the income tax return) smaller or equal to five hundred thousand euros (EUR 500,000).
- Category B includes natural or legal entities with annual gross revenue for the tax year 2023 (code 047 of Form E3) greater than five hundred thousand euros (EUR 500,000) and smaller or equal to one million euros (EUR 1,000,000).
- Category C is natural or legal persons with annual gross income for the tax year of 2023 greater than one million euros (EUR 1,000,000) and less than or equal to ten million euros (EUR 10,000,000).
- Category D is natural or legal persons, who have the main CAD 10.71 and 10.72 (Bakery Production of fresh confectionery and production of nuts and biscuits Production of preserved confectionery species, respectively) or have the main KAD of 96.01 (washing and (dry)) their gross revenue, up to the threshold of EUR ten million (EUR 10,000,000) in the tax year 2023.
