A snapshot of the unknown telephone communication that the Emmanuel Macron with Donald Trump On his arrival in the Ukrainian capital, the French president published.
A video of his visit to Kiev and his telephone conversation on Saturday (10.05.2025) with Donald Trump along with Friedrich Mertz, Kir Starmer and Volontimir Zelenski published by X. France.
The video entitled “In Ukraine, Together” begins with Emmanuel Macron asking “what time will we get to Kiev?” and wish “goodnight” before the train with which he traveled to reach the Ukrainian capital.
After the rest of the train, Macron appears in the Ukrainian Presidential Palace talking on the phone with Donald Trump.
“Can I call you in two minutes with Zelenski?” The French president is heard asking his US counterpart.
“He accepted what you suggest with your message (the 30 -day truce) and is ready to announce it,” Macron continues in the video.

“I call you in two minutes with the others (ed. Mertz, Starmer, Tusk, Zelenski)” closes the Macron-Trump phone call, giving instructions that the phone call will be made at 6pm (Ukraine local time).
“Peace and the freedom of Europe are judged here in Kyiv. We will say it to Trump, ”he listens to the video which closes with the French president warning Russia that if he does not comply with the truce, there will be” mass “sanctions by Europeans and Americans who will coordinate their action.
The video closes with a warm Macron-Chalenski hug with the French president saying “I have you in my heart” and the Ukrainian president responding “thank you”.
