Her central facilities ExxonMobil Yesterday (9.5.2025) the Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Stavros Papastavrou and the Deputy Minister, Mr. Nikos Tsafos, accompanied by the Managing Director of the Hellenic Managing Society of Hydrocarbons and Energy Resources, Mr. John Ardill.
Specifically, the Vice -President informed the Greek delegation about ExxonMobil’s strategic priorities and the company’s intention to increase its production from oil and gas, with a horizon in 2030.
The debate focused on evaluating the data collected by the company in 2024 and which will form the basis for ExxonMobil’s future activity in our country. The two sides have agreed to maintain regular communication as the company proceeds to evaluate geological and geophysical data.
The Greek delegation then went to the headquarters of Cheniere Energy, America’s largest liquefied natural gas producer, where he had a meeting with the company’s vice president, Mr. Anatol Feygin.
During the debate, the two sides exchanged views on developments in the Greek, European and global gas market, the importance of the infrastructure developed by our country, as well as the legislation on both sides of the Atlantic that will affect the gas market and the gas market.
It is noted that the Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Papastavrou, today Saturday, May 10, will meet with the member of the US House of Representatives and Vice -President of the Subcommittee of Energy, Mr. Randy Weber.
