Kim Jong Un: North Korea’s involvement in Russia -Ukraine War justified

“Our participation in the conflict (Ukraine – Russia) was fair and falls under the sovereign rights of our Republic,” said Kim Jong Un. “I consider all the brave soldiers who participated in the operation in Kursk (the Russian region in which Ukrainian forces invaded last August) heroes and highest representatives of the honor of the nation,” he added.

Kim Jong Un said he also said Pyongyang would not hesitate to approve the use of military violence if the US insists on “military challenges” against Russia.

By the end of April, North Korea did not officially confirm that it had sent more than 10,000 troops and weapons to Russia, as military cooperation between the two states was significantly reinforced under the strategic partnership agreement signed by Kim Yong last year.
