In Digitaleurope, the leading European body representing the digitally evolving sectors has recently joined the Group PPC. As the first corporate member from Greece, PPC brings its know -how in the fields of pure energy“smart” infrastructure and digital innovation in the European dialogue on the future of energy and technology.
PPC is also the first and only energy business to be involved in Digitaleurope, bringing the ‘voice’ of energy and this market to the organization. PPC is active at every stage of the energy chain – production, distribution and energy consumption. This combination role enhances the importance of its contribution to the transition of Europe to the green and digital times, at a time when energy and data converge.
Digitaleurope represents more than 45,000 companies, including some of the largest technology companies in the world and plays a key role in shaping European policy for emerging technologies, connectivity and digital transformation. PPC’s involvement supports its strategy for exploiting digital transformation as a driving force for innovation, efficiency and empowerment of the customer to transition to clean energy.

PPC also participates in Energy Executive Council
As part of its enhanced collaboration with Digitaleurope, PPC also participates in the new Energy Executive Council, a high -level initiative that collects executives of leading companies from the energy and technology sectors. The Council aims to provide substantial, business -oriented proposals to European decision -making factors, accelerating the green and digital transformation of Europe’s energy systems.
PPC at Energy Executive Council is represented by Mr. Alexandros Paterakis, Deputy CEO of Digital and Innovative PPC Group Services. His participation reflects the strategic priority that the Group gives to digitization as a lever for the creation of the energy system and its customers. “Our participation in the Energy Executive Council is critical to enhancing cooperation and innovation in the European energy industry,” Mr Paterakis said.
