Gordon Herbert will be the next federal technician of his national men’s Canada. The country’s basketball federation has announced the recruitment of the Canadian coach, with Herbert taking over the duties of… summer 2026. Herbert will succeed Jordi Fernandez.
Bayern Munich technician Gordon Hebert, before taking over the Bavarian technical leadership last summer, had led German Men’s National to the World Cup in 2023.
At the Paris Olympics, the Punchers reconciled 4th place, that is, they stayed out of the podium, to leave immediately afterwards and succeed Pablo Lasso in the technical leadership of Bayern.
Herbert was a member of the Technical Technical Technical Men of Canada in the 2001-02 season, as well as from 2018 to 2021.
Gordon Herbert stressed after announcing his recruitment by the Federation of his homeland: “It’s a great honor and I’m excited about this opportunity to train my country’s national team. Canada’s basketball has been a tremendous development in recent years. I look forward to relying on the strong culture that has been established and working with our athletes to continue to push Canada to new heights. “
