THE Panathinaikos He showed… Metal European Champion and arrived at 81-77 on the Efes of Anadolu In Turkey, for the third game of the two teams in the EuroLeague playoffs, again taking the lead with a 2-1 lead and the home advantage.
Although he was even ahead of double -digit points in the third quarter, Panathinaikos allowed Efes Anadolu to come back in a matter of minutes, with a blackout on his attack to make the “thriller” match in the final. There, however, Nan, Sloukas and Huanzo “cleared” for the “Greens”, with Mitoglou scoring the three -point victory, leading their team to the double.
Ergkin Ataman’s team “answered” with her own break in the Turkish break in the OAKA to get the lead in the Euroleague playoffs again, where a win in the next two games is now needed to check the “ticket” for Final 4 in Abu Dhabi.
The game
Panathinaikos started the game well, with Osman scoring 5 fast points, but Anadolu Efes “answered” with Larkin and Osmani to set a long way to give their team the lead. The “Greens”, however, remained close to scoring, with Mitoglou giving solutions to defense and attack to complete the first quarter with 23-20 in favor of the Turkish team.

In the second period, Panathinaikos greatly improved in his defense and with Mitoglou reached 10 points and then giving the… baton to Osman and Slouka, brought again… the match and overtaken the scoring. Efes scored mainly with three-pointers, but the “Greens” had many deflections during that time and found easy points in the attack to close the first half with their 39-45 in favor of a buzzer beater basket of Nan in the last attack.

In the third quarter, Panathinaikos continued at the same pace, with Central Nan finding a pace in the attack and scoring 10 points in this time, after a total of 6 in the first half. Ataman’s team, however, also had Mitoglou steadily “hot” and with a bigger “weapon” of its defense, even with a double -digit difference in the match. However, a series of errors in the last attacks of the third period, however, allowed Efes to reduce to 54-63 at 30 ′.
The Turks’ series continued in the fourth and final quarter of the match, to even reach the equalizer in 68-68 five minutes before the final of the match. Panathinaikos “stuck” in the attack and with bad choices, allowed Efes to return to the match quickly, but when the ball was “burning” it was the one who reminded who the European champion was. With Mitoglou scoring the three-point race, Nan and Slouka having … cold blood in the shots and Huanzso taking out the phase of the fight with a cap and surprise, Panathinaikos won 81-77 and made it 2-1 in Efes.
