With letter The Minister of Labor and Social Security called on social partners, Ceramic Victoryin an open dialogue for the preparation of the Action Plan with the aim of strengthening collective bargaining and increasing the percentage of employee coverage, according to an ERTNEWS report.
Ms Kerameos in her letter emphasizes that the training of the Action Plan presupposes an extensive dialogue with the social partners who will begin after preparatory work and then the partners will receive an official invitation to formulate their proposals in writing, at least thirty days.
The Action Plan, which must be drawn up by the end of 2025 under Law 5163/2024 entitled: “Integration of European Parliament and Council of 19 October 2022”, will include clear timetable and specific measures to increase the rates of the Social partners, in the context of the integration of this Directive (EU).
Social partners are invited to indicate an expert within five days of receipt of the letter, which will participate in the preparatory procedures for raising good practices from European Union countries and preparing the soil to submit proposals from the social partners.
“The country’s obligation to draw up a plan of action is a national challenge that requires the maximum cooperation between social partners and the state, and we look forward to our well -co -operating cooperation so that we can jointly carry out this fundamental work,” the Minister of Labor and Social Security said in a letter.

‘Subject: Definition of experts for preparatory actions of the Action Plan of Law 5163/2024
Honorable Mr President,
As you know, Law 5163/2024 incorporated the Greek legal order (EU) 2022/2041 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 October 2022 on sufficient minimum wages in the European Union, where, inter alia, there is an obligation to draw up a draft action plan. Specifically, according to Article 5 of the above law, the Action Plan will last from one (1) to five (5) years, it will set a clear timetable and specific measures to increase the rate of coverage from collective bargaining, with full respect for the autonomy of the social partners, and will be completed by the end of 20.
As the training of the Action Plan requires extensive dialogue with social partners, please indicate one (1) expert, who will participate in work to raise good practices from European Union countries and the preparation of soil to submit proposals by social partners, within five (5) days of receipt of this.
Following the preparatory work, there will be a dialogue between social partners and the Ministry of Labor, and subsequently a formal invitation to formulate your proposals for the Action Plan, as provided for in Article 5 (2) of Law 5163/2024, within a time limit of at least thirty (30) calendar days from 30 additional calendar days.
