A serious accident occurred in the area of Oreokastro at Thessaloniki Sunday afternoon (27.04.2025). An iron door aggravated a small child who was playing, injuring it.
According to politesoreokastrou.gr, the gate fell and overwhelmed the toddler shortly after 4 pm at Lake Oreokastro Lake in Thessaloniki.
The resident of the area, St. Kelesidis, who was on the spot, said that the heavy and damaged – for several months – door of the entrance, fell on the toddler while playing and seriously injured it on the face and head.
It was immediately called in 166 for first aid.
After that, the ambulance received the child and his parents to the hospital.
