Metlen Energy & Metals: Circle the first quarter of 2025 – Monday the new investment program

According to the announcement, the revenue of the energy industry in the first quarter stood at € 1.18 billion (+ 31%), 228 million (+ 11%) metals and infrastructure – concessions of 92 million (+ 171%).

The main quarter developments include:

  • The agreement with Fairfax to increase its participation in Metlen with the conclusion of an exchangeable Euro110 million bond, with which Fairfax will have the right to acquire 2,750,000 Metlen shares within two years at the price of EURO40 per share, ie 1.92% of the company. After acquiring this percentage, the total rate of Fairfax in the company will amount to 8.35%.
  • The start of the 2GW submarine interface between Scotland and England, worth 2.5 billion pounds.
  • The € 295.5m investment announcement to create a vertically integrated bauxite, alumina and French production line in Greece, enhancing Europe’s self -sufficiency in these critical raw materials.
