New incident with 74 immigrants south of Gavdos - Transferred to Agia Chania

In the country of Sfakion were transported by a Coast Guard floating vessela total of 74 refugees/immigrants found on a boat, in a sea area southeast of Gavdos. 74 people are expected to be temporarily hosted in Agia Chania.

According to the port, out of 74 people 69 are men, three are women and two children.

It is the third incident with immigrants within a few hours in south of Crete, after 47 people south of Gavdos were found in a sea area south of Gavdos in the early hours, and a few hours later 38 more were found in a sea area south of the good ports.
