PASOK President’s post on the anniversary of the April 2177 coup
“The junta coup on April 21, 1967, turned Greece back many decades, on a devastating course that culminated in the Cyprus tragedy,” Nikos Androulakis said in a post on the anniversary of the dictatorship of the colonels.
The president of the PASOK-Main of Change also points out that 58 years later, “we are honored and inspired by those who have given their blood for democracy and freedom against the stranger dictatorship” and emphasizes: “collective memory is a watchful guard of democratic institutions”.
Mr. Androulakis emphasizes how “the daily struggle without parodies for the shielding of the rule of law in our country is the only way to upgrade our democracy and the well -being of the Greek people.”
