The prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakisaccompanied by his wife Mareva Grabowski – Mitsotakiattended the Resurrection Sequence in the Holy Trinity Church Tinos.
Earlier, the prime minister had sent his message about Easter and the Resurrection, stressing that Greece, like the whole world, faced great difficulties and that “in a spirit of self -confidence and unity, we can all overcome them together”.
In his message, Mr. Mitsotakis states:
Saint Easter, the greatest feast of Orthodoxy, always reminds us that through pain, difficulties, hardships, adversity, light and hope is eventually born.
All Hellenism, in our homeland and everywhere of the earth, celebrates this day and wishes through our souls to bounce feelings of kindness, feelings of solidarity, feelings of hope.
Our homeland, like the whole world, face great difficulties. But in a spirit of self -confidence and unity, we can all overcome them together.
Let’s celebrate this great day with our loved ones, let’s forget about the difficulties and adversity for a while, and let’s get the message of these days of great week so that we can see our personal future, as well as the future of our country, with greater optimism.
