In a climate of devotion this year the Resurrection across the country. A large number of believers found it in the churches to chant “Christ Risen” and exchange wishes. Traditionally, in some areas of the province the resurrection of the Lord came … earlier.
Their honors and this year the resurrection was the sparklers, who filled the sky (and scared many …) at the time the heard the “Christ Risen”.
In Athens, danced by the Archbishop of Athens and all Greece and in the presence of the President of the Republic Constantine Tasoula, The Sequence of the Resurrection and the Divine Liturgy were held at the Cathedral of Athens. In the sequence of the Resurrection this was given, among other things, representatives of the government such as the Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis, PASOK President, Nikos Androulakis, Representatives of the opposition, the Armed Forces, the Security Forces and the Local Government. The message of the President of the Republic
“We are celebrating today the victory of life, the victory of light, the victory of Hope and the victory of optimism. For our lives, for our family and for our country, “the President of the Republic, Konstantinos Tasoulas, stressed in his statement after the Resurrection at the Athens Cathedral.
“The universal and universal message of the resurrection of the Lord is already embracing Greece and all Hellenism. It is the most shocking message ever heard in the world. It expresses the greatest and most meaningful overthrow ever made in the history of the world.
Death is overwhelmed by life, darkness crashes by light. This is precisely this message today embraces all of Greece and Hellenism. Christ raised the sins of the world, took responsibility for our actions and died as a human being.
But while he died as a human being, he was resurrected as a god and with his resurrection gave us the most valuable we have for the course of our lives. Faith, hope and optimism. That is why the Greek is so inextricably tied to Easter, because he believes and optimists about his own life and the course of his homeland.
And this hope and optimism are pervasive today in Greece. Today, the whole country will resonate with Christ Risen and the Truth Risen! Easter Sunday will resonate at the four ends of Greece. This optimism and this hope in which the Greeks see their personal, family career, and their national course. And as they see them with hope and optimism, the problems, the obstacles, the difficulties, the setbacks are overcome.
This is also true for our national course. Our national course has to do with our national security and our national prospect. And when we treat them with optimism and hope, their course is even better.
The course of our nation, the course of our country, the fate of our people is even better. And it becomes even better and more auspicious, when we deal with all this, as one as possible. More united in the big and great ones that have always united us. And that will always unite us.
So today we are celebrating the victory of life, the victory of light, the victory of hope and the victory of optimism. For our lives, for our family and for our country.
Happy birthday to all Greek women and all Greeks. Christ Risen! ”The President of the Republic stressed.
Thessaloniki
In a climate of deep devotion, with the same splendor and bells ringing, the universal message of the Resurrection was heard in the resurrection in Thessaloniki, in all the sacred temples that were flooded by faithful.
The “Christ Anestis” and the Metropolitan Church of St. Gregory of Palamas where the Resurrection and the Resurrection Divine Liturgy were held, the Metropolitan of the Metropolitan of Thessaloniki, Mr. Filotheos. “There is no more amazing listening than that,” the Metropolitan of Thessaloniki, among other things, stressed in his message, and urged hundreds of believers to remain in the Resurrected Divine Liturgy in order to be done, as “eyewitnesses” of the Risen Christ said.
The Message of the Archbishop
In all the temples of Athens the Easter message was read by the Greek Church’s president: “My brothers and my children in the Lord, dear,
CHRIST RISE!
and
Now the light is being cut!
The resurrected Christ becomes the foundation of new life and reality, of the new building. The fleshly discourse, the dead and the dead Lord, was explained “as the Sleep”. He donated immortality to human nature and brought it back to “to the prior courtesy”. In the last one will all be resurrected to meet the Lord and “so always the Lord we are.”
However, the world, the far of God, “in the wicked one.”[7] The forces of evil seem to dominate everywhere. Wars, violence, injustice and legal interests, migrations of people, refugees. Peoples are traded. The pain is inexplicable, silent together and deafening. Forecasts for social changes around the world. Personal relationships are tested. The importance of the family is degraded. The natural evil comes at times to complete the image of despair. Our ecclesiastical communities are once tested and tested by the climate of increasing indifference. The Paulia finding “Outside of Fighting, Inner Fears”[8] It looks so fitting in our reality.
The kingdom of God is, as we have been in the Great Forty, “justice and exercise plus sanctification”.[9] The street of God is a way of sacrificing love. Those of us who choose this path are called on a course without compromise. True love, as a great writer writes,[10] It means to make ourselves responsible for all human beings and the whole world. Life of Resurrection means race. A struggle against the evil around us, with a sense of responsibility for our minimum brother. A struggle against evil that is rooting within us, against selfishness, selfishness and sin.
This Christian ethos is pregnant with our worship and gratitude to the Anastasian God. This cross way of life is driven by the infinite grace, which accompanies the sacrifice of Christ, a sacrifice for all. Life and history make sense.
My kids in the Lord!
The resurrected Christ offers a perspective transformative of the history of the world. The testimony of the Resurrection of Christ becomes our sacred duty and the melody of our heart.
Truly the Lord! ”
