Earthquakes are marked in the last hours in West Attica. The focus of vibrations is mainly found in Aspropyrgos, but also in Eleusis.
The strongest earthquakes in West Attica took place shortly after 00:20 am. on Good Wednesday (16.04.2025).
According to the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens, these are three resonant vibrations that were 2.5, 2.7 and 3 on the Richter scale.
The focus is found north of Aspropyrgos and Elefsina.
Despite the relatively small size, the earthquakes are particularly noticeable because their focal depth does not exceed 5 kilometers.
