“My parents had a saint, they are good” are the first words of the couple’s daughter involved in car accidentwhich took place on Tuesday afternoon (15/4/25) on Egnatia Road, near the tolls of Polymylos, in its area Kozani.
The deadly car accident in Kozani happened shortly before 4pm, under conditions of extremely limited visibility due to dense fog. The accident resulted in 2 people being lost and injuring another 5.
Rescuers found two charred corpses in one of the cars involved, at the point of the toll of Polymylos, in Egnatia, in the section between Veria and Kozani. Witnesses report about a passenger car that failed to pass through the e-Pass strip. Then the driver had reverse and collided with the vehicle that followed, before the truck fell on them.
