China will increase duties on all US products from 84% to 125% from tomorrow Saturday, April 12, as announced by the Treasury.
This move comes after US President Donald Trump’s US duties increase in China. The ministry added that China would ignore further duties from the US to Chinese products.
“As there is no longer any market acceptance for US products exported to China under current levels of duties, if the US side continues to impose tariffs on Chinese products exported to the US, the Chinese side will not pay any attention to it,” according to the statement.
